I have a Msi 890gxm motherboard. It has 2 USB 3.0 ports in the back coated in blue.

I just bought a Netgear 1200 AC wifi adapter.
It works, but every time i start up I get this message:

http://imgbox.com/OAVUHWJr

I have recently updated my BIOS and everything that the MSi website has to offer including the Renesas 3.0 Host controller.
All of the BIOS options for USB are enabled.

Someone help me out, this is bugging me! Thanks!

I went on the msi website and installed the only 3.0 driver update, along with every other update just cause.

The network adapter is the only 3.0 device that I have so both ports are open and both tell me the same error message. :/

The only thing I can think of is that mobo is too old compared to the adapter? But 3.0 is 3.0 so it should work? Idk

Check the UEFI/Bios settings. There is a mode where the USB 3 slots work as USB 2 mode. I deactivated 3.0 because my board was defective. Maybe you deactivated too. I don't know what this setting is called, especially on your board.

I have all 3.0 settings enabled in the BIOS.

What I think is happening is on startup I get that message twice, then my wifi goes down and reconnects. So I'm guessing it switches it to 3.0 after startup since I don't get those messages again if I leave my computer on.

The transfer rate should be enough to determine if it runs at USB 3.0 speeds or not (my guess is that it doesn't, but I'm hopefully wrong).

That's what I'm getting with it. I know we pay for only 50 mb from COX *shrug*.
When I hover over the adapter settings it does say
"wifi usb3.0 adapter #2

I still have ping of 62 ~130 on League of Legends. I'm guessing it's just packet loss cause wifi
