How do i get my laptop to verify my pc game

my laptop started and installed my pc game sims 3 but before i could start told me that the computer couldnt verify whether it was the right game or not this is a brand new game how do i get my gasme to play for me?

Reinstall Sims 3 from the disc.... that's assuming your laptop meets the games requirements ????
