How do I get my wireless adapter working again? Please help!

One day I was cleaning up my computer, sifting through a bunch of files and applications I wasn't using. I thought it would be a good idea by freeing up some space and deleting something named DW LAN CARD. A couple days later, I noticed in my Network and Sharing Center that it didn't show a list of wireless connections I could connect to. I checked the adapter settings, and it said that the Wireless Network Connection (Dell Wireless 1504) was disabled. I double-clicked it, it said "Enabled" on a small window, but it was still disabled.

I've done just about every possible resolution I could find. I re-downloaded a bunch of drivers. I changed the antenna diversity in the connection's properties. I've stopped and restarted the WLAN AutoConfig. Nothing is working. It's been this way for months, and it's really irritating. Anyone have a possible answer?

I use a Dell Latitude E6530. OS is Windows 7 64-bit. There are no anti-virus programs (that I know of) on the computer.

Have you gone to Device Manager and see if you have any exclamation points in network devices. If you can plug your computer to the internet through an Ethernet connection. Right click on the exclamation point if there is one and choose update drivers. After this choose search automatically.

There are no exclamation marks next to the network devices. I've been using an Ethernet cable ever since, but I need the wireless adapter to work for when I take the laptop places and when I can't get a wired connection to any routers.
