Solution basroil Mar 2, 2016 You cannot install Windows onto any sort of USB connected disk, it just won't work. If you have Windows 8 or 10 (you are in the Win 8 forum after all), then you should just go to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 for 10) and make a USB installer.
