Im buying what i need for a gaming pc and i cant find out if the motherboard i want supports 32 or 64 bit as it has been a really big problem for me.

Solution
check motherboard specs...
Only for very ancient MBs will you find it only supports 32 bit OS...
Do you have more details?
What components do you have in mind?
Budget?
country?
games to play?

im getting a BIOSTAR TB250-BTC on amazon.ca and it doesnt say anything about the bits. and im on a budget and im trying to play games like fortnite, realm royale and overwatch and stuff like that.

I don't know any modern mobo that doesn't support an x64 cpu.

It is todays standard. Nothing modern uses x32 anymore but will support it with an x64 chipset.

But if you are still worried about it. Just go to the mobos manufactures website and pull up specs on the mobo. It should say there or look at the supported CPUs. If any CPU is x64 and support then it supports x64.

because i havent found an OS to use and i saw on other websites that the OS has to have the same amount of bits that the motherboard supports as im getting really confused.

It is fine, any B250 chipset will support 64 bit.

http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=865#specification

OS SUPPORT Support Windows 10(x64) for Intel 7th Generation Processor
※Support Windows 7 / 8.1(x64) / 10(x64) for Intel 6th Generation Processor

what CPU do you have in mind?
Why not get coffee lake or Ryzen 2? Any components you already own? Newer platform may be also cheap but has better performance.

I have an intel core i3 as my choice but idk what OS i should get. btw i dont have a pc right now as i only use a laptop and i want a gaming pc because my laptop isnt too good for gaming as it runs average 30 fps on battle royale games.

Windows 10 doesn't even have an x32 version.

All you need to know is the Windows OS type needs to match the CPU type. If the CPU can only handle x32 then only OS you can install is x32.

But like I said. All modern motherboards support x64 and Windows 10 doesn't even come in x32. You should be fine. It's hard to go wrong here unless you are purchasing older equipment ( and I mean like... 5 years or older).

Maybe of recent. Out of the gate it only supported it for upgrades. You wouldn't even purchase a standalone.

And yes. Full system replacement/upgrade is a better choice. Anything short of an i5 isn't really recommended for gaming.

Hmm that uses older CPU AMD FX series. I wouldn't recommend it. Its last gen and not super great for todays standard.

You are better off with something like this.
