I purchased an AMD Phenom II X6 1055T from ebay. When I installed it the BIOS detects it as 1055T and so does windows 10. The problem is that CPU-Z, Speccy and Hardware Monitor detects it as AMD Phenom II X6 1050T. So is my CPU Counterfeit ?

Solution
Most likely Cpu-z and hwm need an update.
I would assume the counterfeitng process wouldn't be justified to pass a 1050t as a 1055t as a dollars and cents proposition. They'd probably start with something far cheaper.
Eta; is a 1050t a real cpu?

You should check the clockspeed of your cpu, if its the normal clockspeed of the 1055T then its not counterfeit, if its lower than the 1055T normal clockspeed than it is counterfeit but you can always fix that with overclocking (unless you bought a crap mobo)
