Question How do I move ALL the data off my old hardrive to my new one

My father's PC broke and it won't boot anymore so I tried to transplant the HDD over to the new PC. Turns out that the hardrive can't be removed and I have to find a way to recover the data. If so, is there a free way to do it?

I think your meaning old hard drive not working? Hope i guess wrong.
Usual want to transfer data from old hard drive to new. You can use enclosure for that. More info about old hard drive condition help figure out the problem fast.

The way that the hard drive was mounted was that the screw holding the hardrive in is behind a riveted panel and i can't get access so I can't get access to it.

try to cut with the holder xD i know this might a bad idea but can you just the HDD bracket with the HDD

Can you make a photo?
It might be, drive cage has to be removed first, before you can remove HDD.

The cage doesn't seem to be able to remove as even if i remove the front oanel, I can't get at the screws. Also, I'll try to get an image later today.
