I changed some settings in msconfig boot options and now my Dell XPS L502X is not booting up.It shows the Windows logo and after that nothing happens (black screen). The only thing i can do it open up CMD.
- You can open windows run (Windows key+R) and type 'msconfig' (without quotes).
- Or you can open the same msconfig utility by typing in cmd 'start msconfig' (without quotes of course) which basically it's the same so I think opening it through windows run is easier and less time consuming .

I think you disabled some windows system applications
If you are able to boot into safe mode (F8 key during boot) try opening msconfig and resetting everything. the only way I know to open msconfig through cmd is 'start msconfig'
- The other option would be to rebuild the master boot record by using these commands by booting into safe mode with cmd
also try these commands in cmd
