How do I open my PC case?

I have the CiT Red Devil case and I can't seem to get it open. I have taken out the thumbscrews and try to slide it open and it will not open.

Looks like the side panel should just slide backwards and off. Sometimes they stick a little because of the paint.

Hit it a little bit harder.
It does come off.

Get a flat screwdriver and then from the back, where the side wraps around the back of the case, where the screws were, insert between panel and back of the case and tilt the screwdriver a little to pull the side back a bit, then try pulling the side back with your hands at the same time.

Hmm. This absolutely shouldn't be necessary, but maybe your front panel is interfering in some way? Can you get it off first?

You are going to have to post pictures of the back of the case and the side that won't come off. Nobody has an explanation and we can't see what you see.

Well, typically front is fixed by these tabs on the sides of the front, that click into little grooves. Depending on the case, sometimes you can take the front off first. Mine comes off, albeit with a little more jerk on the bottom first, and then gently pull it away to the top. Some cases need you to take off side panels first, and push the tabs in those grooves in before pulling the front. Do not pull and jerk if it shows no sign of give. Just see if you can pull it off, rock it top to bottom a bit to see if any side gives way first.
