how do i reinstall windows 7 on a dell latitude e6400 without a disk

I lost the windows 7 os disk in a move my dell latitude e6400 won't boot how do I reinstall windows 7 without disk laptop says hardware or software has changed or was damaged use disk and in stall windows 7

you can get it from microsoft here:

you can burn it to a disk or they have instructions on how to put it on a bootable usb.

That laptop should have a recovery partition. This will allow you to reset it to factory settings, which re-installs Windows and all the other stuff that came with the laptop. Try this first as it is the easiest method. If you don't want all the other stuff then you need to do a clean install using the info that N3rdR4ge provided and use the COA key on the sticker on your laptop to activate Windows.
