Question How do I remove a 3 pin cpu fan connector from the motherboard?

I have a Msi GP62 2QE and the fan started making a really loud noise so I opened it up to get the fan part number but the connector doesnt have a latch to release the connector so I cant take it out. Any help would be really appreciated and if pics would help I can open it back up and take some. Apologies if this isnt the right place to ask this, this is my first time posting

The 3 pin fan should just pull out, just remember where it goes in as you will need it back when you install the new fan.

I tried to just pull it out but its really stuck in there. I tried prying it out with a flat head screwdriver but it just wouldnt come out and I'm worried if I use too much pressure I could break it and wont be able to install the new fan
