How do i remove a GPU heatsink?

Hello i was wondering if there is a guide for my specific GPU (MSI GTX 970) on taking off the heatsink because i want to replace its thermal paste to hopefully get slightly better temps. I have seen many videos on removing heatsinks but i wonted to know if there is one for the MSi 970 in case it is different from other cards

There should be little or no difference. The HSF will be secured by four small screws. They are indeed small, and may have springs on them, so careful not to lose any bits when you do this.
Keep in mind this may or may not void the warranty. In some cases, contacting the manufacturer's tech support (MSI in this case) can make sure the warranty remains intact.
