I disabled sharing my slave drive once I added another user to the PC a long while back....and now I want to move it to another computer but I can't get access to it.

I almost locked myself out for a brief moment while deleting all users on it hoping that'll take it all off but it didn't work. What is the correct step?

Pretty much I need to remove that little user icon from it so it's free for all again.

Thank you!

Solution
It's pretty tedious to take ownership of each file one at a time so there are 3rd party utilities to batch process them.

But if it doesn't have any files larger than 4GB on it, just convert the drive to FAT32.

FAT32 cannot store any permissions.
