How do I remove Search Protect from Windows 8?

My daughter I found out had many viruses on her computer due to never ever running anti-virus and I have got most off of there, but am having an issue in finding out how to remove something called Search Protect which I have discovered is related to Conduit? Can anyone tell me how to remove it please?

Download them all, run them, cross fingers. Still doesn't work? Seriously, back-up all your data and reinstall Windows. In my experience it is quicker, easier and more successful to just start all over again!

Thanks! Ran Malwarebytes and now it seems to be gone. Will also take other steps to get her computer back to better shape! Already so far it seems to be a lot better as now seems to shutdown faster 'cause was havin' issues shutting down among other things!
