HOW DO I REPLACE MY HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH15L

In my System info. it list the name of my DVD as being a HL-DT-ST DVD RAM GH15L SCSI, I want to add another DVD internal burner, how do I know ehich one is compatable with my PC?

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

The only thing that you need review is the type of data and power connection of your current DVD drive.

How you do that? Easy, open your case and look for the type of connection, and compare with the followings:

1- SATA
2- IDE
