depends on the motherboard

either there will be a cmos reset button

or on the motherboard a jumper to move

or you can take out the cmos battery

Hello... Typically you should remove the battery first... and jumper for ~2-5 mins... remove jumper, install the battery... New CMOS data will be created on next Boot.

With the power off, use a jumper to temporarily short the JBAT1 pins located on your motherboard. Then, remove jumper and power on.
