I have a Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile V6535 that worked before and had no problems. After a while, i plugged in a vga cable and turned it on, but my monitor said "Please change your resolution to 1366x768 60hz" I went to my different computer and made a live copy of AntiX 19.2.1 and found out that the resolution was maxed out to 2048x1536 which is incompatible with my graphics card. I tried to change it back to 1280x800 and restarted but it just brought it back to 2048x1536. Please help me while you can since I want to install WIndows 10!
Any answers will be appreciated.

i don't think bios will use that 2048x1536. anyway the issue is you need a monitor that support 1280x800

how did you know the bios is running at 2048x1536, which your laptop don't even support
This weird problem happened somewhere in june when i accidently deleted the display adapter driver. When i restarted this problem started. Here's picture proof of the resolution
https://ibb.co/bsqZtWg I've tried many monitors but to no avail.

that the app is wrong.
either get a new monitor, fix the laptop, or keep looking
We happen to have a Samsung SyncMaster SA100 that can handle all the big resolutions we tested on a gtx 750ti computer. But i just found out that the refresh rate of the ghost laptop screen was 49.27hz and it was also a "Recommended" refresh rate. Could it be the hz or the resolution?
