how do I revert back to windows 7 from windows 10. I would like to reinstall windows 7, The only thing I have is 7 upgrade

how do I reinstall windows 7 upgrade on my laptop. Windows 10 is not allowing me to revert back. I want to make a complete reinstall. The laptop original had vista on it and I upgraded to winodws 7. I cannot use my programs with windows 10. Computer doesn't recognize some of the programs. Big mistake to go to windows 10.

You should have the Windows Product Key somewhere, typically affixed to the bottom of the laptop, but it is a requirement that this key be passed on to you from the merchant. Find this key, and then download the Windows vista install file from Microsoft, and then upgrade again.
