So I'm having a Samsung SSD RMA nightmare. After registering my 256 GB 840 EVO, the Samsung website immeadiatly tell me it is no covered under warranty, despite the 3 year warranty being valid until Dec. 2016 and I have the receipt. They did not ask about purchase date, just said it is not covered. Then I couldn't even contact support unless I said it was about a DVD rom drive. Now they give me the run around on web chat help, giving various ticket numbers, and telling me to check back in to web chat to see if there is any progress. They won't look into it, and then contact you with an answer.
OMG!!!! What awful service!!! Holy crap! I will never buy another Samsung anything, which is sad because I WAS looking at an M2 SSD. My girlfriend also will change smart phone brands for her next phone.
Coolemaster, Corsair, MSI, Roswill, Sony all provided good service to me on RMAs. Samsung doesn't even acknowledge your warranty, never mind provide service.
I will try calling instead, but that doesn't change their horrible service. Every other company provides online service, and actually got back to me after I contacted them.
