I have a 120 Hz monitor and right now and I have an HDMI cable hooked from the monitor to my graphics card. My monitor is the AOC Agon AG352UCG6 35” Curved Gaming Monitor, G-SYNC, (3440x1440), VA Panel, 120Hz, 4ms, DP, HDMI, USB 3.0, HA and my graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce 1060 with 6 gb. I read around and it says that I need a dvi dual link cable to be able to run 120 Hz.
When I go to advanced display settings > display adapter properties > Monitor it will only show 50 Hertz and nothing else. My monitor does not have a place to plug in a DVI cable.
Am I able to get that thing that converts the HDMI to DVI. So That I will be able to plug in an HDMI to the monitor then change it to DVI then plug that into my graphics card to run 120 hz?
