I have a 120 Hz monitor and right now and I have an HDMI cable hooked from the monitor to my graphics card. My monitor is the AOC Agon AG352UCG6 35” Curved Gaming Monitor, G-SYNC, (3440x1440), VA Panel, 120Hz, 4ms, DP, HDMI, USB 3.0, HA and my graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce 1060 with 6 gb. I read around and it says that I need a dvi dual link cable to be able to run 120 Hz.

When I go to advanced display settings > display adapter properties > Monitor it will only show 50 Hertz and nothing else. My monitor does not have a place to plug in a DVI cable.

Am I able to get that thing that converts the HDMI to DVI. So That I will be able to plug in an HDMI to the monitor then change it to DVI then plug that into my graphics card to run 120 hz?

Solution
No, your monitor only supports up to 50Hz when using HDMI, while using DisplayPort (100Hz max.) and overclocking the monitor an additional 20Hz will achieve 120Hz. So, get a DisplayPort cable.

From your manual (https://aoc-pim.s3.amazonaws.com/Manual,%20Drivers%20&%206D/AG352UCG/english.pdf), on Page 39:
"Vertical Scan Range:
24-60Hz (HDMI1.4b)
30-100Hz (DP1.2)

Optimal Preset Resolution:
3440x1440@60Hz (DP)
3440x1440@50Hz (HDMI)

Product website (https://agon.aocmonitorap.com/au/product_ag352UCG6.php#) also specifies the following:
"Scan Frequency:
HDMI 1.4: 30-140 KHz (H)/24~60 Hz (V)

DP 1.2 : 3440 x 1440 @ 120Hz

Solution

Thank you so much. The things that I thought were just HDMI ports were actually Display ports. You are an amazing person <3
