Question How do I set my printer to Online with my Windows XP?

Terminology throws me; I just don't understand the internet lingual... at all. I have a Brother printer model HL - L2320D.

That said more information is needed:

Specifically what is or is not happening?

How are you connecting the printer to the Windows XP computer?

Did you install the printer drivers on the Windows XP computer. (Drivers are software that allows a computer to communicate with a specific peripheral.)

What have you done or tried thus far to get the printer to print?

Any error messages, pop up windows, etc. on the computer? Any indicator lights on the printer?
