Hello! So my PC Has become quite loud the past few months. And it sounds pretty obvious its the Fans, Especially my CPU Fan. So i tried to slow it down in SpeedFan but they didn't appear.
Is this because how old my Motherboard is?

Could someone answer how i slow them down? TY!

Solution
before you slow dont the fans make sure that the temperatures are still okay.

Easiest way is to download a Stresstest liek Prime 95 Version 26.6. or Aida 64 while monitoring temperatures with CoreTemp or HWInfo for example.
Please run a short test (20-30 minutes) and post your (max.) temperatures here.

It would be unwise to slow down your fans if your pc does get to hot just to make it more quiet. This could damage components due to overheating in the long term.
