Question How do i swap my current pc's ssd/hdd to new build?

Hello! I'm in the process of building my new Ryzen 3700x PC. I have pretty much everything ready, all my parts are here, backed up the data to an external HDD. Got my usb with windows on it, linked my windows account just in case. I think im ready, only question really is how do i transplant my 2 HDD's and SSD to my new PC? Do i format them before or after I disconnect/connect them? I've never "upgraded", just built from scratch. I'm doing a fresh install of windows since I'm gonna use a new motherboard, cpu, and ram. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

You build it up with only the drive you want the OS on.
