I recently built a pc. Motherboard b350-f gaming and and ryzen 5 processor. I’ve had many problems with the integrated graphics performance including not being able to run simple games because of not having dx11 something 10 which it says I had “dx12” installed and also not being able to use multiple monitors. This pushed me to install a dedicated graphics card however I have no idea how to switch to dedicated graphics. The bios doesn’t even detect it but when I go to Video Drivers on Windows it does but with an error message. What do I do?

Solution

First off, Ryzen 5 has no integrated graphics. it requires a dedicated GPU to work.
When you install the dedicated GPU, connect your monitor to the GPU, not the motherboard.

You are correct! I made the assumption that, while described as recent by the OP, it wasn't that recent. My bad. 🙁
When most posters say "recent", they mean 6 months to a year.
