How do I transfer just the Windows 10 OS to a Samsung 860 Evo SSD?

The only thing I wish to transfer is the Windows software and maybe a few important games. Other than that, I'm keeping the HDD as well.

Although I only wish to add an SSD and move my most important data to it, I can't seem to find an assured way to do it online. Every suggestion I find is for a sketchy third party website that's behind a paywall.

As an update, I'll put in my MSInfo and DxDiag.

You can't transfer "just Windows", nor can you pick and choose "a few important games".

How large is the new SSD?
How much space is consumed on your current drive?
Do you have another drive, either internal or external?

The SSD is 1TB. My HDD with the OS on it is 2TB, but I've only used like 700GB of data.

I have an external HDD that has 2TB of storage as well, but most of it is filled. If I need to transfer my entire drive to the SSD, I have no problems doing so, but I don't know how. Thanks again!

700GB consumed space and a new 1TB SSD...no problem.
Clone the whole thing over, and then you can move some things to the old HDD after you wipe it clean.

Specific steps for a successful clone operation:
-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung SSD)
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration)
Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new SSD
This is to allow the system to try to boot from ONLY the SSD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive
Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe as necessary.
Delete the 450MB Recovery Partition, here:
