I booted windows off an usb onto my ssd and my old hard drive which had windows on it got turned into system reserved
Your HDD did not get turned into a System Reserved partition.
The E you see IS the system reserved, but it is NOT the whole drive.
There is 930.98GB Unallocated.
In Disk Management, simply remove that E drive letter, and create a New Simple Volume in the 930GB partition that is currently Unallocated. Then, give it a drive letter.
