Please delete if not allowed. I bought a prebuilt gaming pc earlier this month for wow light gaming. specs: intel i5-6500. gpu: amd radeon rx 6400 4 gb vram. Ram: 16gb.
So my problem is it played wow nice and it looked good. so fast forward this past week. wow says graphics card drivers is out of date. so i tried everything to make it work. which would including of uninstalling and reinstalling everything to no avail. i ran intel driver & support assitant. it says gpu availability is offline but its working properly. but when i use my amd adreline edition its using it obviously. my integrated graphics is bsing used and i did high performance mode for advanced graphics settings. so what am i doing wrong? what did i do my system?

For instance, all of these are "Optiplex 5040":

For your system? Likely no real difference. DisplyPort is what I prefer and use. Technical details can be found here: https://www.cablematters.com/Blog/HDMI/displayport-vs-hdmi

What is the make/model of your monitor?
LG 24GN650-B ultragear 144hz monitor. i have xbox one s (2016) and i use it for that. i also have a ryzen 5 5600 g custom built myself. just saving up for a graphics card for it and problem a larger ssd down the road.
