How do I uninstall my operating system?

I would just like to know how I would be able to uninstall Windows 8.1 from my PC, as I will be installing a different version of it. Thanks!

During the install of the new OS (Windows?), when it asks 'where', select Advanced.
Select each partition, Delete
Repeat until you have one big unallocated space
Format and let Windows create what it needs.
