I installed Pocket Control awhile back because I wanted to use my Ipad Mic as my computer Mic. Now that I have a Headset I no longer need the Pocket Control software. My problem occurs when I am trying to uninstall it from Control Panel. It begins to uninstall and then I get a message stating "Error 1001. Unable to delete file F:\program files\CustomActionWin.InstallState." and I am unable to remove the software because of this error. Please assist me in the removal of this software.

I purposely installed it to my storage drive which is drive F. So you think that reinstalling Pocket Control might fix this Problem?'

How about you plug in the drive that has the files first, and then press uninstall. The installer is just confused because you installed the program somewhere it didn't belong.

Does the drive still have the drive letter F?

If not, open up the Disk Management tool (right click on start button) and use Change Drive Letter to make that disk have the letter F (do NOT change your C drive by accident, be very careful!) and try again.

If it is still F, you should not use the installer to reinstall it, and instead just use ccleaner to remove any trace of the program.

I tried to use CCleaner to Unintall it and i got the same message. I also tried the delete option and i could not.

Did you try checking the drive letter first? That is the more important thing.

And no, i did not say to use ccleaner to "uninstall" anything, rather remove all the garbage left over after you remove the disk. Registry keys, bad uninstaller entries, etc.
