How do I uninstall the NT Kernel from windows

I was wondering how I can remove the NT Base kernel (v6.3) in windows 8.1 .
It is really slowing down my computer, so i guess uninstalling it will fix the feature.
Only problem is i cant see it on the uninstaller menu in windows.
Do i have a virus???

Someone told me that if i delete the C:\windows folder it would solve the problem for me as the kernel is stored there. is this true??. He said I should boot my pc from a USB installer and delete the windows folder from there seeing as its not letting me do so right now (i get an error)

Um, no. That is the main brain of the whole OS.

The NT Kernel is the core of your Windows operating system. You only remove it if you no longer want to run Windows. Any one who states you should remove the C:\Windows folder to resolve your issue is just trying to mess up your computer. There is a reason you cannot remove it. Your computer NEEDS it as that's where all the Windows operating system runs from.

Windows OS (since Windows XP) is based on the NT kernal. No NT kernal means no Windows OS. So, no, you can't just "delete" the kernel without trashing Windows.

Also, the "C:\Windows" folder (or whatever folder you picked for your Windows installation) is where all of the necessary files for Windows are stored: the kernel, the system files, registry files, etc. Everything that lets Windows run & do what it does -- including running all of the other apps you have installed, plus knowing where your files are stored for access -- are kept in that folder. So deleting the folder will mean you'll have to reinstall Windows from scratch.

And what made you think that it was the kernel that was slowing down the PC, as opposed to, say, an app running in the background, or malware, or maybe even a failing hard drive?

um something really wierd happened. I replaced the windows NT 6.3 kernel with the windows 10 one (NT 10.0), and replaced other files in system 32 syswow64 and C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-os-kernel. When i now boot up my computer it has changeed the frequency of my processor. it overheats, and the fan spins strange. but NT kernel does not show up anymore on task manager

i have never overclocked my pc or changed BIOS settigns
