How Do I upgrade HDD?

I'm building a PC and at my Max budget with a WD 1TB HDD. ($35)! This is a Gaming Exclusive PC. So say I want to upgrade, I can just add more, but say I run out of storage and my PC is full, How would I convert, say 3HDDs into 1 HDD?

you mean no more mounts for additional hard drives? You could install a new bigger hard drive, install an OS onto it and then copy the contents of the old hard drive to the new one, one by one if you had to I guess. You could also create a bootable backup of your system drive onto the new hard drive, and then you'd have space to copy data from the other drives onto the new hard drive. there are many ways- the only hard drive you NEED is the system drive.
