How do I upgrade RAM on a laptop that has TPM and bitlocker?

How do I upgrade RAM on a laptop that has TPM and bitlocker? I want to avoid getting into bitlocker recovery at boot.

Bitlocker has nothing to do with RAM, it's all done thru file system and OS using TPM module.

Bitlocker gets into password recovery at boot if there are hardware or software configuration changes. My friend experienced it when he upgraded RAM on his laptop. I am thinking, will suspend bitlocker before upgrade suffice.

Well yes but amount of RAM is not important for that. It's still good idea to suspend Bitlocker until you are sure RAM works as it should.
