How do I upgrade to SSD?

I just ordered 2 new drives, a 2TB storage drive and a 120gb SSD. I want to install my OS onto my ssd and have everything else on my storage drive. All my data is currently on my 500gb HDD. How do transfer all data from my current drive and put OS onto SSD? I don't want to re-install windows because I have lost my product key and the CD.

Acronis disk director. Google it, figure it out, its easy. It will clone the OS partition and you'll be good to go.

The trial version only lets me clone hard drives less than 100MB. I don't want to buy the full version for $70. Can you recommend a free software?

It is but not for cloning, try Reflect, it's free and is expressly for backup and cloning.

So I'll use reflect for cloning and ease for migrating to ssd
