How do know the exact model Compaq Presario laptop

Hello,
I have a Compaq Presario Laptop on the underside is a label showing model C700 when I go to the HP website and put in the product number HP comes back with model C770US which one is it and how to resolve. I want to buy parts and download drives but want to make sure I get the right ones.
