How do you catch Lunatone?

My nephew's been hounding me to help him catch this thing. We can beat
it easily but even when we get it down to a sliver of red, the regular
Pokeball, the Great Ball and the Premiere Ball will not catch it even
when it's paralyzed and asleep! Help because my nephew is going nuts
over this, haha.

Try an ultra ball, perhaps?

The Premiere Ball only has the same catch rate as a regular Pokeball.
Try a Ultra Ball, if you've gotten to the point where they're
obtainable. Using False Swipe to get it down to exactly 1 HP also helps.

It's all a matter of probability, so just keep trying.

Ultra Ball and Timer Ball. Have a bunch of standard pokeballs on hand.
Every 10 turns the timer ball gains in strength. Kepp the Lunatone asleep
and keep tossing pokeballs. After 30 turns, unleash the Timer Ball. The
Timer Ball is going to be your ally with Kyoger, Rayquaza, and the Regis

Memories? I still haven't done them. I want just the right poke to do the
job. Problem is I keep forgetting which pokes those are. LOL

I could never get anything to last long enough to make timer balls work or
something. Especially the Regis. After that long, they would start
struggling and bonk themselves.

Keep hitting them with sleep conditions. Don't let them do anything.
