I've tried looking forever to find out how to connect the front panel connectors to my motherboard from my case, if any of you guys could help, that would be amazing. (The case is a standard ATX, the motherboard is a proprietary Dell)
Dell doesn't publish their pinouts for these, and usually have many added functions such as diagnostic LEDs and temperature sensors there. BIOS error messages will occur if you don't get it right. Interchange even among Dells is very risky. My advice is leave it as a Dell. If you want an aftermarket computer then just get one.
Hey,
We cannot clearly say how to do that but you can see the guide on how to connect the front panel headers in the motherboard. Maybe you will not get your specified motherboard but all others are same as all. So try looking on youtube or google and if doesn't help you then please Attach a picture of your motherboard. From picture we can tell where to connect the front panel header.
