How does ~$700 PC build look?

Hey guys, I am planning on building a computer within the next month or so and have been looking at other people's guides for computers around this price. I plan on gaming with it and some slight video editing but please tell me what you think, I personally would like to stick with AMD for upgradibily and am will to spend about 750 plus or minus $50 and will buy from Newegg and Amazon only. I live in a state where there is sales tax on this two sites too. If you would like to know anything else please ask.

Corsair CX is very poor.

You can get FX-8310 for cheaper than FX-6300:

I would go with the Intel build, but I would drop the 2133 mhz ram and try to fit an ssd in there.

instead of buying the parts now, save up some more. That way you can get an SSD, and be happy with 2133 mhz memory.

That is a great Intel build. That is a great price on the 2133mhz RAM, but since it's 1.65v, it will automatically downclock to 1600mhz @ 1.5v.

You could save some money by going with an ASRock Pro4 H97 or even H97 Anniversary and an i5 4460. Drop the disc drive, get a slightly cheaper case and you've got enough for a ssd.

Thanks CTurbo, I'm just not a fan of the case, would still either go with the challenger or haf 912 :/ but should I spend the extra money on the i5-4590?

Go with the i5 4460 if that gets you and ssd. You will be a lot happier with an ssd. Performance wise, its not very big.

There's little to no real world difference between the 4460 and 4590.

You are set! And when you gain some more time with the machine, and money, lol... You can buy a 4690k and overclock it if you want, or get a stronger GPU. Otherwise, you are set for a while! Best of luck building your PC, and Have fun
