i know this is stupid, but if you could spare a second or two, it would be appreciated. I am thinking about betting the gtx 970, and getting Far Cry 4 with it as a bundle. How do they gift you the digital game? With a code? Could i buy on one computer, but download on another?

Solution
For the specific case of 970, all 3 offered by Pick Your Path promotion would require you registering an uPlay account, redeem the game, download and install uPlay and then finally download the games from there.

Most of the online game redemption and bundles generally work this way (registering an account with the choice online-distribution platform, redeem it via their store, download the client, and finally the game).

Of all of the services I have used (uPlay, Steam, Origin and GoG), I must admit I had the most trouble with uPlay, its client doesn't work very well. I had to redeem my ACU and FC4 via website, the client simply doesn't work for it, though it works while playing the game.

nVidia's website. Inputting the code will let you choose one of 3 games available, once you choose, another promotion code will be emailed to you. Use that 2nd code when buying the game from uPlay (it will be discounted to $0.00).

ok thank you. all the games have uplay, so it is unavoidable in this case. 🙁

My 970's are MSI (one is a normal Gaming 4G and the second is Golden Edition). They both work as intended, and no coil whine under normal operating circumstances (I had to force unrealistic conditions to make the cards whine, like 2000+fps).

EVGA isn't a bad choice either I'd reckon. I don't know much about them as they only recently entered into the market here in Taiwan, we were dominated by MSI, Asus and Gigabyte when it comes to GPU's, but EVGA has been recommended a fair bit along with the big 3.

thank you very much. ill go with the msi.
