how does one reset their ram?

how do i reset my ram? i have absolute no experience... all i know for a fact is im using a windows 10 acer high performance laptop that i somehow on a thread put some ram into minecraft... i ddont want a factory reset, i just want to set the ram baack to where they shouldve been
