Hi, my laptop ( ac Toshiba satellite pro c50-aq-1j4 ) has a dead gt740m. it is the only laptop that i own, but luckly, I have a non posting exact same motherboard. I wanted to know how much it will cost to swap the GPUs between these two motherboards, since that I want this laptop fixed even if I' m soon going to change it. Sorry for my not perfect english btw...

That is almost certainly "impossible".

Except for a very few laptops, the "GPU" is soldered directly to the motherboard.
Not changeable or replaceable.

How have you determined that the GPU is faulty?
And what is wrong with the other laptop?

Hi, thanks for your response. I know that it is soldered, that's why i asked how much would it cost. I know that the GPU is faulty because this laptop was given to me from a school, this was the problem that it had at the time. After some months, the nvidia GPU decided to show on my window update page with its own driver, i obviously installed it and after that, installed the latest one from nvidia's website. but it is about 3 months now that if i enable the nvidia gpu, i bluescreen after about 10 seconds into windows. I also checked with GPU-Z and it shows 0 clock speed and some other values are set at 0. About the other laptop, I still, after 2 years that i found it, don't know why it won't boot... it keeps rebooting after 1 seconds that the poer on led powers on. if you want some videos about the second laptop, i can email you or send them on telegram.

It would likely cost more than a new laptop.
