My suggestion:

1) Bigger ssd
2) Higher wattage PSU to support amd card, still great quality.
3) Cut down on the ram
4) Switch to R9 390. Better DX11 performance and 8gb vram is much more future proof. 970 has 3.5gb. similar performing cards otherwise.

I can't agree with your decicion to take onl 8gb of RAM when talking about future proof. Incoming PC games suggest having 16 gb's of ram. For example Quantumbreak. And 8 gb of RAM will already be used by Fallout 4 when having some browser tabs open at the same time.

And no need for 750W PSU on this build. Good quality 650W will do the job. For example: EVGA 650W Supernova.
 
i'm pretty sure i picked that one because it costs less than the 650 right now.

i agree with the 16gb otherwise, but adding more ram later is a cinch and barely more expensive. i'd much rather have double the vram, double the ssd and a bigger psu now personally.
 


550w will be more then enough for this system, with 550w, with also some good head room.

I'm staying with 16GB, i did bump it down from 3000Mhz to 2400Mhz to save a bit. I'll be completely fine there.
