How does this build look??????

Hey Everyone,

This will be my first build and I just wanted to get a little feedback and any suggestions. This system will be primarily used for video editing with After Effects CS5 and Sony Vegas but a little gaming here and there and some day to day stuff. Here is what I'm looking at now,

Intel i7 2600K 3.4 GHz Unlocked 8MB Cache
Asus P8P67 EVO Board
2 x DDR3 8 1600 MHz Corsair (2x4GB) 16GB Total
EVGA GTX 580 SC 1536MB GDDR5 Video Card

A few other questions I had:
1. How much of a benefit is running Windows 7 from SSD with another drive for everything i need to save.
2. I'm considering a different board, anyone have any suggestions?
3. Is the video card to powerful? I won't be doing any CAD stuff.
4. Suggestions on how much I should overclock

For just a little gaming here and there... yeah I would say the video card is overkill.

Even for Editing and Rendering in 1080p?

You mean to create your own Blu-Ray disc? I know a person who does weddings and his i7 systems takes about 12 hours to do a blu-ray rendering in Sony Vegas. It's got a high-end nvidia card (can't remember model, but I know it says GTX xxx)

Yeah I would say the 570 would do just fine.

Well they won't be put on a Blu-ray but that's about the file size and video quality I will be using.

From my understanding adobe benefits from the video card fairly well, and wouldn't make much of a difference between the 570 and 580.
