How fast is Kodi on a Raspberry Pi?

I was wondering from computer power on an actual PC and such, so Kodi is lightning fast. Responsive, the whole nine yards. But I was wanting to do a Raspberry Pi - Kodi build. So on an actual Raspberry Pi, does Kodi respond pretty fast and smooth? No sluggish or long load times when using?

As long as you get a decent sd card it chuggs along nicely. It's responsive (sometimes a small animation hitch in the menu) and works really well. The only thing I had problems with in the beginning is when it was indexing my media server and the pi 3 started overheating and slowing itself down causing hitching in the movie I was watching.
