How good is a gtx 770

A gtx 760 to a gtx 770 is not really much of a worthwhile upgrade

What is your budget?

You would either look at getting another 760 off of eBay and putting them in SLI (if your motherboard supports it), or upgrade.....but I would upgrade higher than a 770. You won't notice much of a difference with it.

While GTAV is missing from the list, the 780 is 50-60% faster in most games tested, so that gives you a reasonably good idea of how much extra performance to expect.

but the 780 is pretty rare to find lol, ik I see the 970 a lot but I think it would bottleneck with the fx 6300 cpu

Bottlenecks are overrated: if the GPU is "too strong" for your CPU, it only means you can crank some of the graphics details higher to burn more GPU processing power if you really have an urge to run the GPU at 100% load all of the time. Many graphics details cost next to nothing on the CPU side (ex.: 4X FSAA) but drastically increase GPU load.
