I need to build a PC. With GPU prices between 2 to 4 times what they were a year ago, and local supply shortages I can't use a discrete GPU. So I was thinking of taking my GTX 1660 TI which I use for my HTPC for the new system
In turn I would use the iGPU for the HTPC. I have a 4K 3D 55" LG edge lit TV. Content is almost entirely consumed from a local server. I don't use any streaming Services. Media I buy is ripped and stored on my local server. The network is all 10Gbit
I have a HDMI 2.0b cable running from the GPU to a Yamaha receiver for 5.1 sound.
I am considering a Z590 motherboard and an 11700K CPU with 16GB DDR4-3600 CL16-16-16 ram.
Is the iGPU capability on the CPU and the combination of hardware I have good enough to give me quality viewing?
Are there any gotcha's I should watch out for?
