I just want to know how good is microcenter.com

Did anybody buy from there? Do they ship their products fast? How long does Standard shipping takes? How good is their service?

There are very few MicroCenter stores but I happen to live near the Madison Heights, Michigan store. The store is very good is somewhat well staffed, and has competitive prices. If you worried if they are legit, you don't need to, they are. HOWEVER, I have never shopped there online, I always go into the store.

i bought two Core 2 processors from them online..
the standard shipping usually takes about 5~7 days business days.. but that's probably because there is no Microcenter store down here in AZ.

i would say their customer service is superb.

P.S. i bought E6700 and X6800 from there for 200 USD below market price.. and somehow in appreciation for my business, they shipped me another E6700 for free!! :twisted:

They're pretty decent. Sometimes they have great online deals, and sometimes they're 5-10% more expensive than newegg. Right now they have 150GB raptors for 169, which is pretty sweet.

i think they're pretty decent. i've sold the two processors to others, and they're all performing like a charm. 😀

if you're buying a processor.. check back every tuesday and friday morning. they lower their prices at that time.

Never ordered online, but I shop my local store in Tustin, CA.
They are well staffed, good selection, and have some good monthly deals. I picked up my ATI X1950Pro there a couple months back for $199. Luckily, I live 15 minutes from Frys and Microcenter. I buy all my parts from one or the other, depending on who has the deal.

Newegg is GOD..... Newegg eastcoast warehouse is in NJ near Philly.... i get my stuff overnight when i chose ground delivery because they so close

After the hell i went through with the now DEAD Monarch computer...nothing but NEWEGG for me

Mwave, tiger and ZZF are my only alternates

Yes! I do remember! It was soooo cold! I only went their once on a date with this chic, but it was in the winter. I can understand why they shut down with the Star John-R right there. I grew up in Clawson and now live in Warren.
