How good is my Computer for gaming?

my dad got me a computer for school work and he paid about $1000 and i would like to know if my computer can play games like call of duty or b3 or something like that here are the stats of my computer

Intel(r) core (TM) i3-2120 cpu @ 3.30 GHz
Installed memory(RAM) 8.00 GB
System type 64-bit operating system
Windows 7 home premium
Model: Inspiration 620
i am not that big on pc games but i still would like to know if it can play good pc games if u need anything else please tell me where i can find that information
 


you need a dedicated graphics card and new power supply. the Intel on board just doesn't cut it. you need at least a gtx 550Ti. otherwise you might get away with a card like the gt 620 but it won't run anything on max but you won't need a bigger power supply.

Nothing meant by it, I just wanted to know if I was looking at the right machine or not.

If it's the mini tower you have, you could look at something like the radeon HD7750 or the Geforce GT640, these don't need the AUX power connectors so you won't need a power supply upgrade. They aren't very powerful but will at least allow you to do some gaming even if it is at lower resolutions. Something more powerful would require a power supply upgrade, which would quite probably invalidate the computer's warranty.

However, if it's the slim tower you have, you could be onto plums as I cannot think of any low profile graphics cards available that might fit into the case.
