Question How good is my custom made laptop ?

Laptop specs:
12 core i5-12500H 3.30 GHz
DDR4 16 GB RAM
1 TB M.2 NVMe 2280 3.0 x4 SSD
Geforce 4 GB RTX 3050
144 Hz 15.6" screen

I bought this custom made laptop recently. Im not a gamer guy but id like to know if i run win 11 and programs, 4k movies, chrome etc. smoothly over years?

Maybe i would play some games like gta 5 and gta 6 or red dead redemption. But games are not my concern. Im only looking for very quick opening times , very fast file transfers and smooth web and application runs/openings.
I tried some apps on this system like nordvpn and it doesn't quickly come up at the start. It takes long time to load..

Yes, yes, yes...I don't know what etc would be for you but anything under the sun would be capable of being taxed on your laptop.

Your ISP and your networking gear would be doing that, not just the laptop.

Actually i meant that over the time the apps like normal applications even google chrome starting times takes long and also the startup of windows takes long . I dont want a slow loading of apps, office, windows settings and stuttering movies..
And also to play some low res games sometimes.

Are you sure it is booting off of a 1 TB M.2 NVMe ?
Lots of laptops especially 'custom' laptops lie about their specs. Having a 1 TB M.2 NVMe should load up apps and especially windows very VERY quickly.
If you can open up device manager, and please take a picture of what is under your Disk Drives.


Mod Edit: Those specs are extremely high end for a laptop and it should be lightning fast for everything you do. The fact you are having slow loading times is very suspicious

Yes the drive is true.
The loading up is very quick only nordvpn app is loading very slowly.
