Is this build Overkill? Can it run dominate Pc games at max settings. This is my first buuld and I dont know anything about gaming computers. This Build is around 1600$ With all peripherals included. Ive purchased most of the parts already, anything I need to improve on or drop?

Solution
It's overkill for 1080P; an RX 480 can handle all games at or above 60 FPS at 1080P. Also, if I recall correctly, games do not use more than 4 threads. But the Ryzen 5 1400 performs as well as the i5 in single threaded performance while retaining 4 threads for $20 less than the cheapest latest-gen i5. So, may as well get the Ryzen platform instead. However, this build is sufficient for >75Hz gaming, which your monitor isn't.

Also, I'd suggest AntLion ModMic with some budget cans (would recommend ATH-M40x for balanced sound signature because I don't know if you're a basshead) for MUCH better sound quality. And do you like clicky keyboards? Or loud ones? Because I attached one.

This is $40 cheaper than your build bu it sure as heck has...
